Luxury Dog Daycare and Cageless Boarding
Would you love your dog to have a place to stay where he can run and play to his heart's content with friends in a large, securely-fenced pasture while you're at work during the day or while you're away on vacation? Where he naps and sleeps with friends in an open area with comfy sofas and beds with all-day access to the outside? Where he is in a home and not a kennel? Where he will receive all the love and personal attention from a dog sitter that he wants and needs in a small group setting?
This is what we always wanted for our dogs, so we have made it happen!
Since we only offer daycare and boarding for up to six dogs at a time, your dog will never be kennelled or left outside unattended. Your dog will never be stressed by a large number of barking dogs. Your dog becomes part of our dog family here at Dog Meadow.
In 2019, we opened Dog Meadow to create a beautiful, relaxed, fun, stress-free home away from home. We wanted to offer dogs a place to visit that was fun, interesting, and cozy, but not crowded with many dogs playing in indoor spaces or with kenneled barking dogs and a stressful overstimulating atmosphere. Many dogs, just like people, are stressed by crowds and noise. All of our practices have the intent to procure this calm, home-like environment, free of anxiety-provoking confinement, while still offering a lot of fun activities and free play in the meadow – all in a safe, dog-proofed environment.
At Dog Meadow, we provide dog daycare and cageless dog boarding for all types of well-socialized dogs. At Dog Meadow, your dog will enjoy the company of up to six dogs throughout the day. We follow a schedule that includes leash-free play sessions in our securely-fenced two-acre Dog Meadow, leashed hikes on our private two-acre Dog Hill, and plenty of naps. Dogs are free to go inside and outside as they wish. We are happy to reinforce any training that you are working on throughout the day. We also offer a bath if you wish – free, if your dog stays for a week.
Our dog daycare and dog boarding visitors stay in Jack’s Livingroom. Our 7-year-old hound dog, Jack, is the host. In Jack’s Livingroom, dogs lounge on sofas and chairs, romp together inside on a cushioned floor on rainy days, watch TV and listen to music. A specially-selected sleeping music track is played during evening hours, and folk-pop music is played during the day.
Jack welcomes many types of dogs that are well-socialized and playful.
Dogs do not stay or sleep in a kennel, “private cabin,” “private room,” “stall,” or any other euphemism for a cage. Only upon your request, he may sleep in a crate in the same area. The only time that dogs are separated from one another is at feeding time. Dogs know the difference between a kennel and a home. At Dog Meadow, your dog will know he is in a home, with the familiar sights and sounds of a family.
Dog daycare for your loved pets while you're at work or away.
Your dogs will get plenty of exercise with small-group play with other dogs. Always supervised during play and no dog is left alone.
Whether it's stretching out on the grass and taking in the view or sniffing around the grounds, your dogs will find plenty to do throughout the day.
Whether staying with us for daycare or boarding overnight, your dog will enjoy the most comfortable naps on the variety of sofas and dog beds.
Cageless boarding for your loved pets while you're away.
Dog Daycare. No cages, no stalls, no kennels, and no isolated rooms.
Whether your dog is more playful and social or prefers a more quiet setting, we offer the option that is best for them.
Your dog will be safely transported if he requires any veterinary needs.
We welcome dogs that are over 12 months, housebroken, fully vaccinated, as well as neutered/spayed.
At Dog Meadow, well-socialized dogs have a lot to do when they are free of cages and boundaries.
Dog Meadow is earth-friendly and chemical-free. We do not spray any chemicals for ticks or weeds. Although we check all dogs daily for ticks, we do advise that you ask your veterinarian to recommend a monthly tick control product such as Nexgard, which protects your dogs from a variety of outdoor dangers.
Our dogs, Jack and Lily, happily run through Dog Hill, which is one of our fields at Dog Meadow. We hope you enjoy this video.
